The very 1st time my cousin Linda and I went to Frenchy's was a Sunday afternoon in 1964 or 1965. I believe we saw a group called "The Leaves"? They wore suits and of course copied the Beatles style. We thought we were 'big shots'. We were 12 or 13 give or take a year. It was a long time and my memory is not that great. Frency's was great, I remember there was an empty pool next door. What I can't believe was our Parents let us walk from Manon Avenue and walk home. What were they thinking?
Years later I would go with a Fake ID to See and Hear some Fabulous music and Bands. Thank you for all the Great Memories

Hi Ed;
I was Peter Wheats manager and producer. Can you possibly send me a jpg photo of the poster from that concert at the Fair Grounds. I would certainly appreciate it as I have been looking all over the place to secure a copy to add to my collection. My email address is: info@onticviews.com.
Kindest Regards

Bill is my uncle. I remember the days he would bring concerts to EUREKA CA. I was very young back then and wasn't into music, so I worked at the concession stand. Once I feel asleep in the coat rack area and woke up after the concert was over and all the coats were gone. I even worked at my uncle Bill's print shop during the summer. I really can appreciate what my uncle has done for so many now that I am older. Once Cher even held my hand at a Las Vegas show when I was around 12 and sang to me. I still think my Uncle Bill had something to do with that!!!!! Hi UNCLE BILL

Does anyone know of a web site for South Bay 60s bands. Played with New Breeds (Brimstone Carriage) from 1965 thru 1968. Never played at Bill Quarry's events, played with Chocolate Watchband, William Penn & his Pals, Music Machine, Doors. Venues included every High School, most all Colleges in bay area, were regulars at Standford, USF, and Cal. Continental Roller Rink, Bold Night, Winchester Cathedral.
Won a Columbia Recording Contract, didn't we all? Played at Whiskey a Go Go. Had a huge fan club with bumper stickers, posters, photos, buttons. Great fun, and fortunate to have survived it all.

Does anyone have the 45 so I can hear it ? Has it been released on cd ? The other master tapes were soul groups . Flouresents was the only garage band in the box .
